Holy Spirit Symbolism
Our school logo contains numerous symbols of the Holy Spirit. The dove in the logo is one of the most common symbols that we have of the Holy Spirit. It was at the baptism of Jesus that the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, comes down upon him and remains with him. The book represents the Bible, the word of God, which forms the foundation of our faith. The yellow represents the light of God and the blue represents water, which is also the symbol of the sacrament of baptism representing our membership into the Church as followers of Christ. Finally, all of these symbols are encased in a heart to represent the love that God has for all of us and the love we share with those around us.
A Morning Prayer
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day. I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night. I will do my best to make all I do today pleasing to You and in accordance with Your will. My dear mother Mary, watch over me this day. My Guardian Angel, take care of me. St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me that I will work hard to end the day better than it was when I awoke.
